WHAT TO EXPECT

‘The goal of counselling is not to be ‘cured’
but to develop.’

Gabor Maté

Empathic, Non- Judgemental, Honest

In the sessions, I provide an environment where you can feel safe to explore your thoughts and feelings around the issues you bring without judgement.

You can expect a professional working relationship where you are heard, valued and treated with warmth and empathy.

Understanding,
Self-Acceptance, Change

I am a trauma informed therapist who works in a Person Centred/Integrative way, this means that I will not offer you advice or solutions but will support you in finding your own.

I passionately believe that you have the ability to determine how to move forward and the capacity to change or find peace if you want to.

By developing a greater self understanding, you may begin to accept the reality of your situation and develop greater compassion towards yourself.

Gradually you may feel empowered to make decisions about your future and how you want to live your life.

'The curious paradox is that when I accept myself just as I am, then I can change.'

Carl Rogers
